Online process for land allotment
Bhopal, December 14, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Land bank of 1.20 lakh acre has been prepared for setting up industries in Madhya Pradesh. Fifteen thousand acre land of the bank is already ready for allotment. Ten new industrial areas, costing Rs 2000 crore are being developed in the state. Online process has been introduced for land allotment to investors. Outside infrastructure development is being done by the state government for reducing land value in the industrial areas. Forty percent of total expenditure on inner infrastructure in the industrial areas will be borne by the state government. By amendment in industrial land and building management rules, the arrangement has been made to allot land to industrial units for 99 years on lease. Round the clock electricity supply has been ensured to industrial areas. Industrial eco-system is already prepared for textile, pharma, automobile, engineering, defence, food processing sectors. Madhya Pradesh is among top five states in ease of doing business. Many facilities are being provided to investors at administrative level. Facility to maintain one register has been provided for following labour laws. Also, women can work in night shift in industrial units. 900 MCM Narmada water has been kept reserved for industrial development.
