Teachers should fortify sentiments in children to serve needy

kunwar15.1.17Bhopal, January 15, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan):  Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah said that teachers always hold important and respectable position in the society. Children develop their personalities watching their teachers. He told the teachers to fortify sentiments in children constantly to serve the needy persons. Kunwar Shah further mentioned that we can create ideal society by making children’s future bright. He was addressing the annual function of Model Higher Secondary School, T.T. Nagar, Bhopal today. He made an announcement that 25 girl and 25 boy students of the Model School will be sent to the border of the country to understand life of soldiers and to strengthen sentiments of patriotism. Essay competition focusing patriotism will be organized in the school for this.  Minister Kunwar Shah informed the children about the ‘Anandam’ programme. He said that ‘‘Anandam’ is being started in the entire state on the occasion of Makar sankranti. This festival teaches us to bring happiness in other lives. He further said to the children to initiate this at home first by collecting items which can be given to the needy persons of the society. Kunwar Shah said that information regarding Anand utsav will be provided to all school students of the state.  Minister Shah appreciated the teachers at the annual function. He said that it is the first occasion for him to watch teachers and students performing together in the cultural programme.

He told the students to bring laurel in cultural and academic activities too besides studies. Students presented dances focusing folk culture of different states. Kunwar Shah visited stalls put by the students in Bal Mela and tasted delicacies prepared by the students.  Chairman Municipal Corporation Mr. Surjeet Singh Chouhan said that Model School is a pride of Bhopal. All possible support will be provided by the corporation for the progress of the school.

Principal Mr. N.S. Renwal has informed that the students of the school always stay ahead in all activities and studies. The school has attained 99 percent board result in the class 10th and 12th examination. Lap tops were given to the students who have secured 85 percent marks in board examination on behalf of the Chief Minister. Secretary Board of Secondary Education Mr. Dhananjay Singh Bhadoria, Officer of School Education Department Mr. D.K. Kushwaha and parents of children were present. Programme was conducted by Mrs. Rekha Sharma.
