Unique programme of country “Anandam” to help needy begins

Lesson to lead life blissfully will be added in school curriculum

lead15.1.17Bhopal, January 15, 2017 (Muslim Saleem):  Madhya Pradesh has become the first state of the country where Aanandam programme has been started to help the needy persons. Places have been fixed in each district where the economically sound citizens can donate items for the needy persons under the programme. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched the Anandam programme of the newly formed Anand Department on the occasion of Makar Sankranti from the local T.T. Nagar Stadium today. Beside this Anand Utsav will be celebrated in the entire state till January 21. Delightful activities like traditional games, dance and music is being organised during the utsav. People of all ages are taking part in these activities. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country which has constituted Anand department. Inaugurating the unique programme Anandam simultaneously for the entire state, Mr. Chouhan said that we get real pleasure from helping others. In order to increase happiness percent of the citizens Anandam programme has been initiated. He further mentioned that Anand Sabhas will be organized to bring positive approach in the life. Also art to lead a life will be taught to the students to lead a tension free life. Moreover lesson related to make life joyous and meaningful will be included in school syllabus. The lesson will be added with an objective to bring positive approach in the life of the students to enable them to be ready ideologically for the help and care of needy persons. Anand sabhas will also be arranged in the schools, he added.  CM Mr. Chouhan has appealed to the citizens to get them registered voluntarily as Anandak. They will be imparted training and they will play an important role to publicise Anandam. Mr. Chouhan said that anyone who wishes to please others can visit website www.anandsansthanmp.in to become Anandak. Non government organizations, government employees, cultural and business organizations can participate in this.

Extending greetings to the people on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Mr. Chouhan said that Anandam is a unique programme of the state government. He mentioned that we cannot derive pleasure from the wealth and resources only. Long life without joy has no meaning. With the activities to derive pleasure, the activities of development will be undertaken constantly.  Describing the concept of Anandam, Mr. Chouhan said that wealth, resources and position is not sufficient to derive pleasure. It has been said the Shastras that food is like a poison without donation. He appealed to the citizens to give such useful items to the needy people which they have in addition to their necessities like clothes, blankets, books, utensils, furniture or other material.

He urged the women and girls to encourage this initiative. Mr. Chouhan said that Anandam has been started primarily from the district head quarters. This will be launched at cities and panchayat level also. He stated clearly that Anandam programme is a voluntary programme. It is a project to bring happiness. He appealed to all the competent sections of the society to take part in this. Mr. Chouhan informed that arrangements have been made in the capital for the time being at T.T. Nagar Stadium, Concept School South T.T. Nagar, Sanjay Swimming Pool- Koh e Fiza, Govindpura Industrial Area and Swarna Jayanti Park Kolar Road. Similarly, Arrangements have been made in all the district head quarters.
