Religious heads termed Narmada Seva Yatra as initiative for bright future of state
Bhopal, January 18, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Praising Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan with open heart to start Narmada Seva Yatra, the religious heads of all the religions have termed this initiative for the bright future of Madhya Pradesh. City Qazi of Mandla Mr. Haseemuddin Qadri said that it is a big religion to protect water and to make it pure. Nobody can live without water, no matter whatever religion they follow. He further said that Madhya Pradesh will be obliged if Narmada becomes clean and both the banks become green. He said that he understands that the efforts of the Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan to save Narmada River and to prohibit alcohol will be good for the state. People go to the pious river like Narmada at present to consume alcohol. This is not good. Everyone gets Narmada water whether they live near Narmada or at distant places. The objective of Narmada Seva Yatra is very noble. Panthi Harjeet Singh of Sikh religion said that he believes that Narmada protection battalion should be made by the people residing on the banks of river Narmada. Moreover, protection battalion will be made for small and big rivers too. Vigilance should be maintain on the banks of river. To stop insanitation is the biggest work. He further said that when we get punya from Narmada darshan than it is our responsibility to make it worth for darshan. The Chief Minister has done a great work by starting this yatra but we have to undertake the remaining work, he added.
Narmanand Giri Maharaj of Gita Swadhyaya Mandir of Amarkantak said that the Chief Minister has come out to explain the people not to make Narmada dirty. Do not release soap-soda in it. Narmada gives life. Expressing his views on alcohol prohibition, he said that alcohol is a evil and it should be banned completely. Why it should be banned on Narmada banks, it should be banned in the entire state. He said that Narmada Seva Yatra has become talk of the other states also. Mahamandaleshwar Hariharanand Saraswati of Mritunjaya Ashram Amarkantak has termed the liquor as epidemic.
Liquor should be banned first on Narmada banks than it should be banned in the entire state. He said that the Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan has given the responsibility of Narmada Seva Yatra to the Sants and Society. This is not a political yatra. This is for all sections of the society. A big objective. Awareness towards Narmada should be maintained. He further mentioned that Narmada river has spiritually indestructible form but its physical form should also be cleaned. This work should have undertaken earlier but now it’s a time to wake up. Mr. Bhaiyya Ji Sarkar of Narmada Mission said that Narmada Seva Yatra is a yatra to generate spiritual and environmental awareness.
