CM Mr. Chouhan’s directives in employment board meeting
Bhopal, January 24, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave directives to prepare an action plan in order to provide more employment opportunities to youths by establishing coordination between Employment Board, Skill Development Mission and Industrial Training Institutes. Mr. Chouhan was addressing the first meeting of the Employment Board after its restructuring at Mantralaya today. He mentioned that requirement of skilled manpower will be fulfilled in the industries through coordination between Skill Development and creation of employment. Moreover, Mr. Chouhan gave directives to link the experts with employment generation. He directed the officials to conduct a survey to prepare employment profile of the state which will help providing employment oriented training to the youths as per the need of the industries. Furthermore, Mr. Chouhan issued directives to make employment fairs more effective, result oriented and to provide employment by establishing dialogues between companies and skilled youths. He mentioned that training sessions for youths regarding employment in defence forces should be conducted regularly.
Keeping in view the utility of Sainik Schools, Mr. Chouhan directed the officials to explore possibility to open Sainik Schools in other places also. Deliberations on Board’s Budget, Formation of Working Council, Employment Fairs and to hold programmes regarding employment dialogues took place in the meeting. Chairman Employment Board Mr. Hemant Deshmukh, Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Mr. Gopal Bhargava, Minister for Industry Mr. Rajendra Shukla, Minister for Cottage and Village Industries Mr. Antar Singh Arya and Senior Officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
