Finance Minister Mr. Mallayya dedicates Mangal Bhavan at Batiagarh of Damoh
Bhopal, February 10, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Finance Mr. Jayant Mallayya said that development of people belonging to scheduled caste community is one of priority of the state government. Keeping in view the same several important decisions have been taken for development of scheduled caste community by the state government. Mr. Mallayya was addressing the dedication programme of Mangal Bhavan built at a cost of Rs. 42 lakh at Batiagarh of district Damoh today. MLAs Mr. Lakhan Patel and Mr. Pradeep Lariya were present on the occasion. Mr. Mallayya mentioned that hostels buildings are being constructed for scheduled caste students in the district. Better education arrangements have been made by the state government for the children of these categories. A double storey mangal bhavan is being constructed in Kachoura of Damoh. He also mentioned about the dignified tradition of social harmony of Damoh on the occasion. Mr. Mallayya said that an amount of Rs. 5 crore 50 lakh has been sanctioned for construction works of Batiagarh Government College.
Minister Mr. Mallayya distributed residential pattas to 764 beneficiaries of 30 villages in public welfare camp at Bansa Tarkheda of Damoh. He also announced to provide Rs. 5 lakh for construction of Community hall in the village. Mr. Mallayya said that community hall will be constructed at each village. These community halls will be utilized for auspicious programmes of the villagers.
Also tricycles were distributed to the handicapped persons in the camp. Mr. Mallayya inaugurated the three day Nohta Mahotsav. He said that folk culture of the district is being displayed attractively by the artists in Nohta Mahotsav. This Mahotsav has established its special identity in the state during the last few years. He recollected the memories of former MLA late Mr. Ratnesh Solomon. MLAs Mr. Pratap Singh and Mr. Lakhan Patel were present on the occasion.
