CM Mr. Chouhan holds discussion on forms of all seven missions
Bhopal, February 12, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued instructions to officials to give final shape to all the seven missions that are to be constituted. He has instructed them to complete the administrative process of the formation of these missions, to fix their targets and to prepare a road map for obtaining it. Mr. Chouhan spoke to officials at his residence about finalizing the Youth Empowerment Mission, Health Mission, Housing Mission, Agro-Forestry Mission, Micro Irrigation Mission, Narmada Seva Mission and Cashless Mission. He instructed officials that they should give final shape to the missions and make required provisions in the budget. He said that the missions were aimed at giving development and public welfare works the shape of a campaign. This will ensure that the work will be completed on time. Talking about the Narmada Seva Mission on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Narmada Seva Yatra has helped to successfully change the mentality of people.
He witnessed this change in person on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti when people did not flow the pujan material and flowers etc. in the Narmada water and refrained from using plastic. He issued instructions to prepare the road map to fulfill the objectives of the yatra before May 11. He also said that preparations should be made to plant trees on the same day on Omkar Mountains in Omkareshwar and Amarkantak mountains in July.
A meeting of Narmada Seva Samitis of villages from where the Yatra has already passed should be taken and they should be given targets.On the Micro Irrigation Mission, Mr. Chouhan said that this mission will change the scenario of farming. It will raise the income of farmers. On the occasion it was informed that the Youth Empowerment Mission aimed at economic empowerment of youth through sel f-employment and employment. The aim of Health Mission is to reduce the child and mother death rates and control malnutrition.
The Agro-Forestry Mission will work in the direction of raising the income of the farmers. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan issued instructions to give final shape to priority works of the government in the prescribed time limit. These works include Medhavi Chhatra Yojana, land allotment to homeless, connecting all villages by road by the end of 2018, making employment and placement portal, starting Deendayal Rasoi, empowerment of women self-help groups and linking citizen services to mobile apps etc.
