CM at Antodaya –beneficiaries’ convention in Nourajabad of Umaria district
Bhopal, March 2, 2017 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that pension will be provided to all those widows of the state who are not in employment. He said that there will be no restriction of poverty line in pension distribution. Mr. Chouhan informed that not a single student will be deprived of education due to paucity of funds. He said that a provision of Rs. 500 crore has been made in the budget for costly courses like Engineering, Medical, I.I.T., I.I.M. for students of poor families. Mr. Chouhan was addressing the Antaodaya Mela and Beneficiaries’ Convention at Nourajabad of Umaria district today. CM Mr. Chouhan mentioned that permanent lease deeds (Pattas) will be given to the poor dwelling on government land in Madhya Pradesh since last so many years.
Also amount will be provided to construct house at the same land. He said that whoever has taken birth in Madhya Pradesh will have their own house to facilitate them to lead a happy life with their families. Mr. Chouhan mentioned that encroachments on land of tribal will be removed and they will be given possession of their land under the Adivasi Adhikar Yatra.
He further said that the year 2017 will be observed as Poor Welfare Year. Mr. Chouhan said that his government is pro poor government. The state government will give top priority to the welfare works of poor this year. I will not let a single drop of tears come out from poor’s eyes. I was always with them in their happiness and sorrow and will remain like this in future too.
CM Mr. Chouhan told to organise group marriage programmes under the Mukkyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojna. He mentioned that constant efforts are being undertaken for socio-economic and educational development of women in state. Self help groups are being strengthened for economic empowerment of women. As expected, results have been obtained linking women with economic activities and steps are being initiated to make women strong economically. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan further mentioned that permanent lease deeds (Pattas) are being given to 1500 families who are dwelling in Nourajabad town.
A sum of Rs. 18 crore has been provided to eliminate potable water problem of Nourajabad town. Furthermore, Mr. Chouhan said that 200 houses will be constructed for poor families of Nourajabad Municipality area. An amount of Rs. 10 crore has been provided toward this. CM Mr. Chouhan distributed benefits worth Rs. 76 crore 81 lakh to 17 thousand 743 beneficiaries in the Antodaya Mela.
He also dedicated construction works costing around Rs. 82 crore and performed bhoomi-poojan of various works. Minister Incharge Mr. Omprakash Dhurve, Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge) Mr. Sanjay Pathak, President Nourajabad Municipality Mrs. Suman Gotiya, beneficiaries in large number and citizens were present in the convention.
