Minister Mr. Shukl in CII’s foundation day
Bhopal, March 5, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Commerce, Industries, Employment and Mineral Resources Mr. Rajendra Shukl said that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly progressing state in the Industrial sector. He urged the industrial organizations to become partners for establishing identity of the state in the industrial map. Mr. Shukl was addressing the Annual Function of C.I.I. in Bhopal today. Mr. Shukl mentioned that the state has progressed in every field in the leadership of the Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He said that there is a vast industrial investment scope in the state. The way Madhya Pradesh has achieved a remarkable feat in the agriculture sector, same opportunities are available in the industrial sector here. Mr. Shukl said that there is a wide scope of investment in textile, automobile and renewable energy sector in the state.
He termed Rs. 2.97 per unit bid rate received for world’s largest solar power plant being established at Rewa as remarkable. Minister Mr. Shukl said that land bank consisting one lakh 20 thousand acre for development of industries is available in the state. International and national road shows will be organized continuously for industrial development. Mr. Shukl said that Madhya Pradesh which is known as Island of Peace has stable state government, good roads, water and sufficient electricity. Due to these reasons, the investors are attracting towards the state.
Appreciating the cooperation of C.I.I. in the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh, he said that new milestones will be established in the industrial sector in the state with the cooperation of other industrial organizations too. Principal Secretary Industries Mr. Mohammad Suleman said that industrial investment has gained pace due to Global Investors Summit held continuously in the state.
Industrial plots in large number have been taken by the industrialists in the state during the last two years when there was talk about recession in the world. He mentioned that C.I.I. has always suggested the state government to frame rules and regulations procedure favourable to industries. Chairman C.I.I. Western Region Sudhir Mehta and Chairman C.I.I. Madhya Pradesh Mr. C.P. Sharma also addressed the programme. Vice Chairman Mr. Anshul Mittal gave vote of thanks.
