Janab Ramzan Dar had migrated from Sri Nagar about 200 years ago to Sialkot in undivided India. From there, he migrated to Lahore. His son Khalifa Abdul Rahman Dar had three sons – Khalifa Abdul Wahid (former GM, Teheran Bank), Dr. Khalifa Abdul Hakim (author of scores of books in Urdu, English and Persian including Fikre Ghalib and Fikre Iqbal) and Khalifa Abdul Ghani.
Khalifa Abdul Wahid was father of Dr. Saleem Wahid Saleem who wrote “Khayyam e Nau” and whose Kulliyat has been published by NCPUL. Dr. Saleem Wahid Saleem had two sons – Khalid Saleem Dar (now no more) and Muslim Saleem. Dr Saleem Wahid Saleem had married Mrs Umme Habiba of Aligarh (UP). After partition, Mrs Umme Habiba chose to stay back in India and therefore Khalid Saleem Dar and Muslim Saleem remained Indian citizens. Over the years, both settled in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh.
Khalid Saleem Dar was fortunate enough to visit our ancestral home which is still intact in Sri Nagar along with his wife Ghazala Dar and son Abdullah Dar.
Khalid Saleem Dar had stayed there with his friend
