Children of government schools will get better education

School education minister Kunwar Vijay Shah conducts departmental review at Betul

kunwar3.4.17Bhopal, April 3, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan):  School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that better education will be provided to children in government schools. He said that the burden of school bags will also be reduced. School Education Minister Kunwar Shah was reviewing the activities of the department in Betul today. District Panchayat President Mr. Surajlal Javarkar, MLAs Mr. Hemant Khandelwal, Mr. Chetram Manekar, Mr. Mangal Singh Dhurve, Mr. Chandrashekhar Deshmukh and Mr. Mahendra Singh Chauhan were also present in the review meeting.  School education minister Kunwar Shah said that arrangement for electricity will be made in all higher secondary schools. A government school in each assembly segment will be selected and developed as an ideal school. He said that the survey of the dilapidated school buildings is being carried out in the state. Sufficient budget will be given to repair them. The Education Minister said that special campaign will be launched to remove encroachment from government school premises. LED TVs are being provided to 500 schools in the state, where educational programmes will be broadcast.  School education minister said that uniformity will be brought to the uniforms of all government schools in the state.

The task of preparing uniform will be done through self-help groups. He said that wearing apron will be made mandatory for teachers during teaching. Education minister said that hostels of the departments will be made full of facilities. Solar panels will be installed for availing hot water to children. Plan is on the card to provide tablets to reduce burden of school bag. School education minister said that rules related with giving affiliation to private schools are being amended. Private schools will have to provide facilities to students as per intention of the state government. He said that driving licence and helmet have been made mandatory for students arriving schools by two-wheelers. School management has been told to monitor it.

School education minister Kunwar Vijay Shah reviewed integrated School Scheme. This scheme will be introduced in the first phase in Betul and Khandwa districts. The scheme will be named after former member of parliament, Betul, late Vijay Khandelwal. Sehra of Betul development block and Nanda of Bheempur development block have been chosen for the scheme. Bus convenience will be provided to school students of these areas. All necessary facilities will be provided to children in integrated schools. They include cultural, sports, literature and science laboratory. Teachers in sufficient number will be posted in the schools, in ratio of students. Public representatives gave suggestions regarding qualitative reforms in government schools of the district.
