New Delhi : Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Noor’ has failed to create a buzz at the box office, but despite the dull start at the box office, daddy Shatrughan Sinha is all praises for his daughter’s latest release. The veteran actor took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to laud the movie and the entire team for their efforts including stand-up comedian Kanan Gill and Purab Kohli.
He wrote, “Noor – which not only sparkles but makes us proud too. What a great performance in a brilliantly directed film by Sunhil Sippy. Sonakshi Sinha is ably supported by intense & convincing Kanan Gill, surprise package Purab Kohli & fully focused and believable Smita Tambe & Manish Chaudhary. The mind-boggling cinematography by DOP and all related technicians is highly commendable.”
Besides, Sinha also shared how several Bollywood critics are also giving full marks to Noor.
“Our famous friend & worthwhile critic Subhash K Jha & our sweet, intelligent, no nonsense editor of “Screen”, Priyanka Sinha have rightly given full marks to Sonakshi Sinha for carrying this young, beautiful and most desirable film of the day, on her shoulders with her intelligent and intense handling of the role – making her a role model. God Bless!”
However, the box office collection has narrated an entirely different story as ‘Noor’ has just managed to make a collection of Rs 3.43 cr in two days of release.
