15-day international agriculture training programme concludes

Agriculture Minister Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen takes part in conclusion ceremony

Participants from nine countries undergo training of small agricultural equipments

bisen27.4.17Bhopal, April 27, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Agriculture Minister Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen took part in the conclusion ceremony of the 15-day International Agriculture Training Programme at the Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering. He gave away certificates to 23 participants from nine countries and congratulated them for successful completion of their training. He said that trainees should be in touch with the Central Institute for information related to knowledge and technical development. He assured to provide assistance to participant countries through various programmes of the Institute. At least 23 trainees from nine countries Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, Afghanistan and Mongolia of Africa and Asia continent took part in the 15-day training programme on “International Training on Agricultural Engineering for Small Farmers” from April 11 to April 25 in the Institute. The participants were apprised with various processing machines and renewable energy machines including hand-run, cattle-run machines, machines run by small tractors and self-operated machines. Director of the Institute Dr. K.K. Singh and Head of Agriculture Mechanisation Division Dr. P.S. Tiwari were also present during the programme.
