Nepal’s very first billionaire, Binod Chaudhary is back dawning headlines yet again for organising an extravagant wedding for his younger son Varun. The three-day event that commenced on the 26th of April is taking place at the Jag Mandir palace and luxury heritage hotels in India;s Lake City, Udaipur.
Two years ago, the Nepalese billionaire also hosted the wedding of his older son in the city of Jaipur. Attended by several top politicians and big corporate names, the Udaipur wedding seems to be an equally glamorous affair.
Varun will be tying the knot with Anushree Tongya, who;s the daughter of a wealthy diamond dealer. Binod Chaudhary first gained popularity worldwide when he gained a spot in the Forbes list in 2013.
Estimated to have a net worth of over $1 Billion, the 60-year-old billionaire commenced his business with CG Corp and Cinnovation that deals with beer, electronics and luxury hotels. But his biggest hit by far has been his brand of instant noodles; Wai Wai.
Having had a close connection with India, the Chaudhary family is often spotted enjoying exotic vacations and carrying forward business deals in the country. Among the massive guest list, popular choreographer Shiamak Davar and actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha will be making an appearance in the wedding as well.
