Patrakaar Sangh expresses gratitude for journalists’ welfare policies

mishra2.5.17Bhopal, May 2, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra said that state government is committed for dignity and safety of journalists in the state. Necessary arrangements will made after deliberating with the Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan to entrust responsibility to one of the senior police officer of police headquarter regarding complaints of the journalists. Beside this attention will be paid for better provisions regarding security of journalists studying other states.  Minister Dr. Mishra was addressing the programme organised by Madhya Pradesh Shramjivi Patrakaar Sangh in Patrakaar Bhavan premises today. The journalist association expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan and Public Relations Minister Dr. Mishra for implementing journalists’ welfare schemes like accreditation, medical treatment, insurance and Shraddhanidhi etc. The association presented a compliment letter to Dr. Mishra expressing gratitude. Dr. Mishra mentioned that a tradition of amity is still prevalent in the state at the time of globalisation. A family like atmosphere should also be created in journalism field. Tradition of brotherhood and unity should not be vanished from our heritage. Beside this, it is also important to retain place for positive news. Dr. Mishra further stated that initiatives have been taken under the leadership of CM Mr. Chouhan for welfare of all the sectors. Constant efforts will be made in future also to solve the legitimate problems of the journalists.

Dr. Mishra honoured Senior Journalists Mr. Mrigendra Singh, Mr. Shabbir Qadri, Mr. O.P. Kriplani, Mr. S.P. Tripathi, Mr. Bhagwan Upadhyaya, Mr. Raghvendra Singh, Mr. Ashish Dubey, Mr. Sunil Sharma and others on the occasion. At the Outset State President Shramjivi Patrakaar Sangh Mr. Shalabh Bhadoria said that Public Relations Minister Dr. Mishra had come earlier also in the convention of Patrakaar Sangh. He is aware of the problems of this class as he is in constant touch with the journalists.

Necessary steps were taken by the government on suggestions of journalists. Therefore, the Patrakaar Sangh is expressing gratitude towards the government. Welcome speech was given by Vice President of Patrakaar Sangh Mr. Sharad Joshi and the programme was conducted by Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Siddiqui. Vice President Patrakaar Sangh Mr. Suresh Sharma, Mr. Vinay Agrawal, Mr. Manoj Goswami, Mr. Shishupal Singh Tomar, Mr. K.K. Agnihotri, Mr. Dilip Bhadoria, journalists of various districts and office bearers of Patrakaar Sangh were present in the programme.
