Employment to 2500 people from crystal IT park units
Bhopal, May 5, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): An Auto Testing Smart Park is being developed on 478 hectare land of Pithampur by the Commerce and Industries Department. Infrastructure works are being carried out speedily in the park. An administrative and technical sanction of Rs. 362 crore 63 lakh has been given for the park. Works like construction of 21 k.m. long concrete cement road, parking and logistic area on 11.25 hectare land, beautification of river-runnel, landscaping will be carried out and a pond will be developed in the park. Beside this construction work of 31 k.m. long pipeline, 6 sump wells and over head tank is being carried out in the park. The sanctioned infrastructure works also include internal and external electrification works. All the works will be completed by December -2018. Monitoring of works is being done by the Industrial Centre Development Corporation- Indore. An ITSEZ costing around Rs. 100 crore has been developed on 8 hectare land in Indore. A Ready to Use Infrastructure has been developed on 55 thousand 600 square meters for I.T. industries in the park. Almost 35 thousand square meter area has already been allotted to I.T. units from this and production by 12 units has been commenced. About 2500 persons have been employed by these units. An export worth about Rs. 184 crore was made from the I.T. Park in the year 2015-16.
