Chief Minister takes stock of preparations of PM Mr. Modi’s Amarkantak Yatra

review15.5.17Bhopal, May 15, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan took stock of the preparations of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s Yatra who is reaching Amarkantak to take part in the completion of the “Namami Devi Narmade” – Seva Yatra at Amarkantak. He instructed officials to complete all preparations within time limit. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that May 15 is a day of fulfillment of a resolution. This is completion of Seva Yatra not conclusion. He said that a well-planned work-plan would be made with the inspiration of the Prime Minister. Narmada Seva work would begin from May 16. The Chief Minister said that the public-support received by the Seva Yatra is unimaginable. The Yatra has continued in the form of a ritual. The public became the flag-bearer. This is the world’s biggest river conservation campaign. People belonging to all classes and societies took part enthusiastically in the Yatra and resolved to conserve the Narmada. Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Home Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Mr. Omprakash Dhurve, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Anuppur district in charge Minister Mr. Sanjay Pathak were also present.
