Narmada Sevak’s remains immersed in holy water of Narmada

CM performs asthi visarjan of Late Mr. Dave with his kin

dave21.5.17Bhopal, May 21, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan today performed the ritual of asthi visarjan with Late Mr. Anil Madhav Dave’s younger brother Mr. Abhay Dave and his family members at Bandrabhan in the holy water of Narmada. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan reached Bandrabhan today morning. He collected the ashes with members of Late Mr. Dave’s family and performed all rituals as per Vedic customs. The ashes and remains were collected and later immersed in the Narmada. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan planted five saplings in memory of Late Mr. Dave as per his wish and even mixed his remains in it. Late Mr. Dave made efforts all his life to conserve rivers and the environment. By celebrating Nadi Mahotsav in the banks of the Narmada, he gave the message of environment protection. The Narmada Sevak who spent all his life in the Narmada Seva, was immersed in the holy water of Maa Narmada in the end.

Later the asthi kalash was taken by his younger brother Mr. Abhay Dave and his relatives for visarjan. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Sitasaran Sharma, MP and BJP state president Mr. Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, Organising Secretary Mr. Suhas Bhagat, MLA Mr. Vijaypal Singh, Nagar Palika Chairman Mr. Akhilesh Khandelwal, District Cooperative Bank President Mr. Bharat Singh Thakur and other people’s representatives.
