Yogi Adityanath had shared naked picture of woman, now faces case

yogi1A photo shared that was shared by UP CM Yogi Adityanath’S fan page 10 years ago has landed the firebrand politician in a legal soup.
The tribal woman from Assam, Laxmi Orang, who was featured in pictures has now filed a case against him for sharing her naked pictures on his social media page without blurring.

The pictures were shared by his fan page 10 years ago.
The pictures are actually of a protest in Guwahati that had All Adivasi Students Association of Assam (AASAA) at Beltola in Guwahati on November 24, 2007 demanding for scheduled tribe status for the Adivasi community.
yogi4 yogo3However, the post wrongly claims that ‘Hindu woman’ was stripped by Congress workers for raising slogans in support of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP.
The woman in the picture, Laxmi Orang, also told the media that she was not representing any political party at the protest as claimed by the post.
Assam Lok Sabha MP Ram Prasad Sarma has been mentioned as one of the accused.
The complaint has been filed in the court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate court under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
