Chinese delegation meets industry Minister Mr. Shukl
Bhopal, June 30, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Commerce and Industry Mr. Rajendra Shukl urged the Chinese delegation for maximum investment in Madhya Pradesh keeping in view the large consumer market. He said that works in infrastructure sector is being carried out in the state speedily. Moreover, work on Samrt City project has begun in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Ujjain. Chinese companies can invest in Housing Scheme for all and Metro Rail project. Mr. Shukl was deliberating with Chinese delegation today. The delegation led by Director General Guangxi Development and Reform Commission Mr. Fangfang Huang has come to visit Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, Mr. Shukl stated that a township for Chinese Companies has been made in 206 hectare land at Pithamur near Indore. There is no problem or lack of electrcity, water, road, communication and transportation facilities in the state. Electricity is in surplus with 19 thousand m.w. capacity in the state. He further mentioned that Madhya Pradesh is among the top 5 states of the country in ease of doing business. It may be mentioned that Guangxi Development and Reform Commission and concerning organisations are in the state to explore possibilties of investment in infrastructure, electronics and power sector in the state.
