Higher Education Minister Mr. Pavaiya plants saplings at Hoshangabad
Bhopal, July 3, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Sitasaran Sharma and Higher Education Minister Mr. Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya planted saplings at Malakhedi and Bandrabhan of Hoshangabad district in the tree plantation programme. Addressing the gathering present after the plantation programme Speaker Mr. Sharma said that plantations are a must for the protection of environment and future generation and for the incessant flow of Maa Narmada. We all had resolved to plant saplings during the Narmada Seva Yatra and it was implemented today with the planting of 6 crore saplings in the state. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan deserves all the credit for this. Higher Education Minister Mr. Jaibhan Singh Pavaiya said on the occasion that the Narmada Seva Yatra is the biggest campaign of environment conservation in state and has been appreciated all over the world. Tree plantation is the second phase of this campaign. The massive campaign of plantation was launched in Hoshangabad district with full zeal. Trees were planted all over -from cities to villages and fields and grounds.
People performed puja-archana of Narmada and began plantation since morning. During this campaign, Mr. Suhas Bhagat and Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Shiv Choubey planted saplings at Kesla, Badi Pahadi, Hoshanagabad, Malakhedi and Narmada bank Bandrabhan. People in a large number took part in the plantation programme under supervision of nodal officers in the whole district.
