Bhopal, July 11, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that state administrative service is a strong medium to serve people. He said that it is become necessary to be vigilant and sensitive towards basic needs of people and delivery of public services in this service. Mr. Chouhan was addressing trainee officers of state administrative service at Mantralaya today. Mr. Chouhan also shared tips of success and working in administrative sector with trainee officers. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan told the trainee officers that they should always be available to people and serve them without any expectation. He said that service is rendered only when it comes from within. One cannot be forced to serve. Mr. Chouhan said that it would be felt during working in public life that public is important. He also advised that as when public is paramount in the democracy than public representatives should also be given due respect. He said that developing coordination and cooperation between different arms of administration is an indication of good administrator so that all arms of administration can execute work effectively for one purpose. He said that foundation of ethical values should be strong.
Advising the trainee officers for being aware and alert to time management, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that establishment of good governance can be achieved in no time if every moment is spent in welfare of public. He called upon the officers to make the state progressive with commitment, dedication and hard work. Use your positive energy and talent. Director General Academy of Administration Mrs. Kanchan Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Vivek Agrawal and other senior administrative officers were present on the occasion.
