Bhopal, July 16, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Mr. Deepak Joshi dedicated girls hostel at Mr. Govindram Seksariya Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) Indore campus today. The 170 seat hostel has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 2 crore. Mr. Joshi mentioned that Global Skill Park is being established in Bhopal for skill development in the state. Youth will be imparted training and guidance for certification and employment will be provided under one roof in the park. He informed that 2 lakh 50 thousand youths and 2 lakh women will be imparted training as per the national standard under the Mukhya Mantri Skill Development Scheme and Koushlaya Yojana respectively. Recognition to students completing I.T.I after 10th class will be given equivalent to 12th class in 2017-18. Mr. Joshi stated in SGSITS Governing Body’s Meeting that all possible efforts will be made for the institute to secure place among the top 100 institutes in the country. He said that new courses will be introduced in the institute. Moreover, vacant posts will be filled soon so that students should not face study loss.
