Minister Mr. Gupta and mayor perform Bhoomi Poojan of Community Bhavan at ward 29
Bhopal, July 16, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): People residing in surrounding areas of Mother Teresa Ashram situated in ward 29 need not go to other places for holding marriage ceremony and other social-cultural programmes. Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Mr. Umashankar Gupta said this during the bhoomi poojan programme of community bhavan at ward 29. Mr. Gupta, Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma and President Municipal Corporation Mr. Surjeet Singh Chouhan performed bhoomi poojan of community bhavan to be built at a cost of Rs. 40 lakh. Mr. Gupta mentioned that the boundary wall should be built first before the construction of community bhavan. He further said that quality should be ensured in this modern community bhavan. Mr. Gupta mentioned that the state government has undertaken several development works without levying any additional tax in the last 13 years. Informing about Mukya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana, Mr. Guptya said that benefit of this scheme will be provided to all without discrimination. Mayor Mr. Sharma stated that the community bhavan will be named after Late Mr. Narayan Prasad Gupta.
He further mentioned that additional amount will be sanctioned for construction of this fully furnished community if needed. A project to eliminate the problem of sewerage of this area has already been made. President Municipal Corporation Mr. Chouhan said that community bhavan should be constructed within stipulated time limit. He has given Rs. 25 lakh from president’s fund. Local Public Representatives were present on the occasion.
