Bhopal, August 9, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): On the auspicious occasion of Rakhi, brothers have set an example by constructing toilets on their own for their sisters in Jabalpur district. District Collector Mr. Maheshchandra Chowdhary and CEO Jila Panchayat Miss Harshika Singh reached village Hinotia-Barha of Jabalpur Janpad Panchayat to become witness of this unique initiative. Novel gift has been presented by brothers to sisters in the village Hinotia-Barha to ensure their dignity by setting them free from helplessness of open defecation. Roshan, Govind and Ashish presented this unique gift to their elder sister, a student of M. Tech. after getting themselves tied with Rakhi on this holy festival of Raksha Bandhan. These sisters also tied rakhi to the Collector Mr. Chowdhary presnt on the occasion. All the 3 brothers are students of engineering and diploma degree courses. Collector along with his entire team visited the village to see the toilet and wholeheartedly appreciated the sentiments of brothers towards their sisters.
A cheque of Rs. 12 thousand was presented by Mr. Sunil Shripal to Miss Vinita Jhariya on being tied rakhi for construction of toilet in the programme organized at the temple of the village on this occasion. Janpad Member Miss Rashmi Shripal was present during the programme. In the same programme, the collector made an announcement towards assistance of Rs. 5 thousand to 12 years old Sahil Rajak who has contributed in construction of toilet with artisans for her younger sister Kumkum.
