Bhopal, August 13, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Finance Minister Mr. Jayant Mallayya while inaugurating the mission Green Damoh -2 said that plantation is not a programme but a social campaign. Youth must ensure their participation in this campaign in large number with enthusiasm. He expressed hope that Mission Green Damoh will help Damoh to be identified as the greenest city in the state in future. President Jila Panchayat Mr. Shivcharan Patel stated that plantation has been undertaken at temples and mosques’ premises equally under the mission. Collector Damoh Mr. Shriniwas Sharma mentioned that people of all the walks of the life have participated with enthusiasm for Mission Green Damoh. This activity has become an example of social harmony. Mr. Mallayya mentioned that there is no shortage of funds in the state for the education of talented children. He said that fee for pursuing studies in prestigious educational institutions will be borne by the state government. A special fund has been formed in this regard. Mr. Mallayya laid emphasis for more encouragement to girls towards education in Kushwaha community. Moreover, he announced an amount of Rs. 5 lakh for construction of Mangal Bhavan of Kushwaha community. MLA Mr. Lakhan Patel was present in the programme.
