Dr. Mishra offers Shramdaan under ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign at Datia
Bhopal, September 17, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Public Relations Dr. Narottam Mishra undertook Shramdaan under the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign at scheduled caste dominant locality of Datia city on the occasion of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s Birthday today. He laid foundation for construction of toilets costing Rs. 10 lakh on the occasion. Dr. Mishra said that some people had raised questions when he picked the broom to begin the Swachhta Abhiyan in the country. Now people themselves are participating in the campaign after understanding the importance of cleanliness. Besides India, other countries are also accepting and supporting the positive and meaningful subject like cleanliness. Minister Dr. Mishra presented incentives to 16 players of the district in a programme held at Datia. He extended best wishes to the players of wrestling, basket ball, badminton, judo, kabaddi and taekwondo during the programme at Rajghat colony. Moreover, he handed over the orders for appointments on compassionate ground in government services to Mr. Shrinath Pateria, Mr. Raghuvir Ahirwar and Mr. Bhupendra Singh Sironiya. Furthermore, Dr. Mishra held discussions with the members of committees in various meetings regarding programmes to be held on the occasion of Navratri Parva, Dusshera procession and Ravana dahn programme. Necessary arrangements for the programmes were reviewed in the meetings and responsibilities were relegated to the office bearers of various committees.
