Minister Mr. Pawaiya in “Rashtra Prem Utsav”
Bhopal, September 25, 2017 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Minister for Higher Education Mr. Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya urged youths to assimilate thoughts of Swami Vivekanand. He mentioned that youths must understand Swami Ji by reading his philosophy. Symbolic patriotism has its own place but patriotism is a matter to be imbibed. Mr. Pawaiya was addressing the “Rashtra Prem Utsav” at Gyan-Vigyan Bhavan of Barkatullah University today. The programme was organized on the occasion of 125th anniversary of historical speech of Swami Vivekanand at the Parliament of the World’s Religions, Chicago –America and on the occasion of National Poet Ramdhari Singh “Dinkar’’s anniversary. Mr. Pawaiya said that Bharat will become world leader on the basis of its culture and it’s believes. Sharing the memories of Swami Ji, he said that Swami Ji on finding books of Sanatan Vedic religions in the basement of the library after the speech said that the correct place has been selected for the books as Sanatan Vedic religion is the foundation of all the religions. Informing about National Poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, Mr. Pawaiya said that he was a poet of dignity and national consciousness. He also apprised youths about the Mahatma Gandhi’s resolution for freedom of India. Mr. Pawaiya mentioned that patriotism itself is a religion. There is a need to payback what youths derive from the country. MP Mr. Alok Sanjar stated that Swami Vivekanand had established dignity and respect for India 125 years ago. Moreover, Mr. Sanjar apprised youths about the lessons of Guru Maa of Swami Ji which she taught him before his Chicago visit. Prof. Dr. Subhash Chandra Rai of Vishwa Bharti Shanti Niketan and Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh shared the contributions of the National Poet ‘Dinkar’.
Mr. Neeraj Kumar of Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ Trust welcomed the guests. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Pramod Kumar Verma also addressed the programme. Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Mr. B. R. Naidu and Registrar University were also present on the occasion. Mr. Munna Pathak presented Dinkar Gaan. Guests were welcomed with shawls, books and mementoes. At the outset university’s students recited Saraswati Vandana and Madhya Pradesh Gaan. A drama led by the theatre artist Mr. Mujeeb Khan was showcased at the end.
