CM Mr. Chouhan distributes awards of senior national wrestling championship
Bhopal, November 19, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Special attention will be paid to the promotion of games, said Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the concluding ceremony of the four-day Senior National Wrestling Championship in Indore today. Every possible assistance will be extended to players to encourage them. CM Mr. Chouhan said that constant efforts are being made to encourage games in Madhya Pradesh. Players of the state are giving a good performance in both national and international competition. He said that winners of medals in the Senior National Wrestling Championship, Mr. Ravi Barod and Miss Rani Rana will be given cash award of Rs 1 lakh each while employment opportunity is also under consideration. Mr. Chouhan distributed awards to the winners of medals at the national championship. He welcomed Olympians Mr. Sushil Pahalwan, Miss Sakshi Malik and national championship winners Mr. Ravi Barod and Miss Rani Rana. Madhya Pradesh Wrestling Association President Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed gratitude to the state government for their assistance. Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Mr. Thawarchand Gehlot, Mayor Mrs.. Malini Gaud, Indore Development Authority Chairman Mr. Shankar Lalwani, Madhya Pradesh Olympic Sangh Chairman and MLA Mr. Ramesh Mendola, Madhya Pradesh Wrestling Association Chairman and MLA Mr. Mohan Yadav and MLA Mr. Mahendra Hardia were present on the occasion.
