Need to give employment, skill and culture-based education to youths

Higher Education Minister Mr. Pawaiya at central zone vice chancellors’ meeting 

pawiaya18.12.17Bhopal, December 18, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan):  Minister for Higher Education Mr. Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya said that there is a need to give employment, skill and culture based education to the youths in the present time. Mr. Pawaiya was speaking in the Central Zone Vice Chancellors Meet held at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya today. Mr. Pawaiya mentioned that the deliberation which took place between the government, industrialists and universities on higher education sector during the meet is praiseworthy. A report on the deliberations which took place by gathering all on one platform should be presented. The state government will contemplate on this. Mr. Pawaiya further stated that the universities must laid emphasis on research. He mentioned that the Vishwa is connected to the word Vishwavidyalaya, which means that universities are connected to the entire world. Universities’ have responsibility to provide such education, which is effective in the entire world.

Mr. Pawaiya said that we have to decide employment oriented educational courses so that youths should not remain unemployed. Youths must be linked with social responsibilities. He described the “Guruway Nama:” programme helpful initiative to provide culture based education. Mr. Pawaiya mentioned that the universities have important role for realizing the dream of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi by the year 2022 by contemplating on higher education sector. This will help changing the country’s picture, he added.

President AIU Prof. P.B. Sharma said that our forefathers had made arrangements for knowledge, conduct and behavioral education for us. He further mentioned that the universities must prepare competent students. Prof. Sharma stated that we have to link society also with the education system. He informed that research and innovation center will be set up at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya shortly.

Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Sunil Kumar said that the teachers have special place in the society. Teachers work to form society. Teacher is such an intellectual person, who created society and everyone listens his/her words. Director UIT Prof. R.S. Rajput was also present on the occasion. Before the programme, Higher Education Minister Mr. Pawaiya held round table discussions with the industrialists and vice chancellors. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Registrar Mr. S.K. Jain.
