CM Mr. Chouhan takes part in Sahu Samaj Sammelan
Bhopal, December 18, 2017 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called upon the Sahu Samaj to launch a signature campaign in support of a bill passed in the Vidhan Sabha for death penalty to rapists. He assured to make maximum funds available for construction of building for Sahu Samaj as per rule. Mr. Chouhan was addressing the All India Tailik Sahu Samaj Yuvak-Yuvati Parichay Sammelan-2017 at Ravindra Bhavan today. The Sammelan was organised under the aegis of District Sahu Samaj Bhopal. On the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan released the samaj magazine Jivan Sathi and honoured the personalities of the samaj. Terming the Sammelan as the need of the hour CM Mr. Chouhan said that families do not have tension about the marriages of their daughters. He said that couples who got married in the mass marriage programme of the samaj will be benefitted under Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana. Government will extend all possible help to such samaj for such work. Mr. Chouhan said that the honour of our daughters is must for development and welfare of the state and the country.
He said that he himself performs the ritual of washing the feet of kanyas before beginning any government programme. This way the message of honouring daughters is conveyed to people. He said that the Sahu Samaj should inspire their children for higher education. He inspired youths for self-employment and starting their own enterprise. The Chief Minister congratulated the couples whose marriage was fixed in the sammelan and their relatives. Sahu Samaj accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. As many as 1300 youths were registered in the sammelan.
